1. Acceptance
By downloading, registering for, or using the Ruumz application in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any provision herein, you must immediately cease using the App. This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and Ruumz (hereinafter "the Company", "we", "us", or "our").
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App.
- Use by persons under 18 is strictly prohibited; any such account will be immediately terminated upon discovery.
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or your applicable jurisdiction.
- You may not create more than one account per person.
- We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate any account at our sole discretion without prior notice.
3. Account Responsibility
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activity conducted through your account is deemed to be your own, whether authorized by you or not.
- You must notify us immediately upon suspecting unauthorized access to your account.
- The Company shall not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
- You may not transfer, sell, or assign your account to any third party.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the App for any of the following:
- Publishing content that violates Islamic principles or applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or harm of any kind directed at any individual.
- Disseminating false, misleading, or infringing content.
- Creating Ruumz for illegal or immoral purposes.
- Facilitating any criminal or unlawful activity.
- Fraud, impersonation, or misrepresentation of identity.
- Hacking, tampering with, or attempting unauthorized access to the Company's systems.
- Sending spam or unauthorized commercial communications through the App.
5. Host Responsibilities
- The Host is legally responsible for all events and gatherings created through the App.
- The Host warrants that their event complies with all applicable laws, permits, and regulations.
- The Host bears responsibility for the safety of attendees within the scope of the gathering.
- The Company accepts no liability for events, damages, or disputes arising within gatherings.
- We may remove any Ruum that violates these Terms without prior notice and without refund of any fees paid.
6. QR Check-In & Safety
The App provides a QR-based attendance verification system as an assistive tool only. The Company does not guarantee the absolute accuracy of this system and shall not be held fully liable for security breaches that may occur regardless of its use.
7. Intellectual Property
- All intellectual property rights in the App — including design, content, code, and trademarks — are exclusively owned by the Company.
- You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
- Copying, redistributing, modifying, or creating derivative works from any part of the App is strictly prohibited.
- By uploading content, you grant the Company a non-exclusive license to use such content within the platform.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The Company does not warrant:
- That the App will operate without interruption or be error-free at all times.
- The accuracy of information provided by users or hosts.
- The safety of gatherings or events created by users.
The Company acts solely as a technology intermediary and is not responsible for what transpires between users in the physical world.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Company, its directors, employees, and agents shall under no circumstances be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including without limitation bodily injury, psychological harm, financial losses, or data loss. In all cases, the Company's maximum aggregate liability to any user shall be limited to the amount paid by that user to the Company in the three months preceding the incident.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company from any claims, losses, or legal expenses arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) infringement of any third-party rights; (c) any unlawful activity conducted through the App.
11. Termination & Suspension
- The Company may terminate or suspend any user account at any time, with or without notice, upon breach of these Terms.
- You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings.
- Upon termination for any reason: all licenses granted to you expire immediately; you are not entitled to a refund of any fees paid unless expressly stated otherwise in the applicable policy.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Both parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation within 30 days.
- Failing amicable resolution, disputes shall be referred to the competent courts in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
13. Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced 14 days before taking effect via the App or registered email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
